The average rice production in the region between 2018 and 2023 was 7.3 tonnes per hectare. However, preliminary data from the Generalitat Valenciana (GVA) indicate that rice production in 2024 fell by 8.2%, reaching only 6.7 tonnes per hectare. In contrast, plots where naturKhem Technology was applied showed a markedly higher yield of 9.7 tonnes per hectare, representing an increase of up to 21.5% compared to the regional average.
This improvement was attributed to an increased number of panicles per plant, greater crop uniformity, and heavier grain weight. Together, these factors reflect an overall enhancement in crop quality thanks to adequate nutrition, optimising rice productivity.
