These two were the main varieties cultivated for many years. In general, fruits in this group have moderate acidity and a marked tendency toward alternating harvests. The primary varieties are:
- Salustiana: Vigorous and big tree that forms very characteristic vertical branches. Medium to big fruit, not very intense in colour, thin peel and seedless.
- Valencia late: Vigorous tree, with a tendency toward verticality and easy to adapt to different soils. Fruits with high juice content and late maturation.
- Sanguine group: These fruits are characterized by the red pigments in their pulp and the peel. Trees are small to medium size with little foliar density.

Data shown in each citrus variety represent the vegetable growth with the application of CitriGrow biostimulant for 104 days and 8 applications.
- The measurement of trunk diameter is the measurement that covers more accurately the accumulated growth.
- Some biostimulants in the market provide poor results and often have no effect or may even reduce the growth.
- If the growth rates shown in the experiment (in some cases close to 20%) were maintained, in 5 years we could have trees with double the biomass than those that were not treated with Citrigrow.
- Achieving values that exceed 7% and 18% of the growth rate obtained with other biostimulants is an absolute success from a technical and commercial standpoint. In addition, plants grow healthier and bring forward the entry into production.
